Check Ups at 8, 5, and 19 months!

Today we went to the doctor for all three kids annual check-up. Sean is at 50% weight for his age or 55 and a half pounds and he is at 8% height or 47 inches tall. His height threw us off a little until they started to weight and measure Kaylee; she is less than 5% on the charts for both height and weight. :0) At 5 years old Kaylee is 33 and a half lbs and 40 and one fourth inches tall. The doctor reassured both Clint and I that everything is fine, Kaylee is just going to be very petite. Rose was last...at 19 months she is at 30% weight or 24lbs and 70% height or 32 and three fourths inches. All in all it was a good visit and all of the kids are doing great.

We cannot believe how fast the time has gone in the last year and a half. Our baby girl is walking, talking, and coming into her own personality. She is so much fun to be around and has a force of energy surrounding her at all times that cannot be compared to any other.




She likes to pretend that she is a cat. She will lay on the floor with Linus and crawl around on all fours.


She has figured out how to work the digital camera and is fascinated by taking pictures of herself.



She is an outdoors girl, she will go outside every chance that she gets.





She brings the phrase "Daddy's Little Girl" to an entirely new level. If daddy is at home, no one else exists!



She has gotten really good at drinking from both straws and regular cups.



Sean and Rose have such an amazing relationship. Rose absolutely LOVES her big bubba.


Although Kaylee and Rose do not always see eye to eye, they have a very unique, special relationship with each other. When Rose is'nt screaming at Kaylee for having a toy that she wants...they play, laugh, and have a great time together.


and her newest fun activity is doing head stands.



We are excited to see just what our Rosie learns to do next.

Weekend in Lindale

This weekend Clint,Sean, Kaylee, Rose, Charlie, and I loaded up the car and went to Lindale to spend some time with MeMe. It was a nice relaxing get away. We has SO MUCH fun with MeMe!! The ride to Lindale was even relaxing because Rose was totally content sleeping on the way there.

We started off the day with a trip to the library to rent movies and library books. Then after that we visited the Miranda Lambert store and Winery. It is such a neat little place with really really good wine.





Afterwards we went to the park and played, and played, and played some more.








When we got back from our adventures in Downtown Lindale the kids quickly found the toys in the living room and Sean was excited to get started reading his Wimpy Kid Diary books from Carter and Addie.


While we were at MeMe's we played ride the horsey, dress up, and MeMe fixed Rose's hair. Later that night we make button necklaces and bracelets.




and of course I finished up the night with a few glasses of Miranda Lambert's Crazy Ex Girlfriend wine!! ;)

Sunday morning Kaylee and MeMe curled up in the bed and read books together.

Afterward we all got ready to go have lunch with Scott, Krista, and Maddox. Kaylee had not seen Maddox in over 6 months and they had such a good time together. They are both getting so BIG! It was fun catching up with them.


After lunch with MeMe and the Lays, the three of us headed to PaPa's to visit. The kids were so excited to see him and had a blast playing outside and in the toy room.

Daddy and Rose went out back and jumped on the trampoline...


and last but not least....we got a really good picture of the three kids on the piano just like the one we took Christmas 2009 at Charles and Paulette Nash's.
