Company/Family Christmas Party

Today we went to Uncle James's company Christmas Party at Salt Grass. Almost the entire family was there. The kids had so much fun with NaNa and PaPa, Uncle James, cousin Britton (Kaylee's favorite) and everyone else. It was a great night with good food, good atmosphere, and good company.

Surgery and Thanksgiving!

November 20th was a weird day for all of us. Clint took off from work after I complained all morning of severe pain, aches, vomiting, and passing out on the bathroom floor. I made an appointment with the doctor and went to see him assuming that I had somehow picked up the swine flu. After several test including a CAT scan, and two doctor's later I was shortly admitted to the hospital to have emergency surgery. I needed an emergency appendectomy, a fischerectomy, and a hemroidectomy all in one. This could not have come at a worse time. My surgery was scheduled for 6:30 which was 30 minutes before Clint's second playoff game. Everything ended up okay and we were able to go home two days later. Thanksgiving was pretty much a blur for me because I was recovering and slept through the entire day. Clint and I also spent our first wedding anniversary in the hospital. :(

Halloween

Halloween with the kids seemed to last for weeks. Kaylee and Sean both had fall parties at their school's which somehow I was nominated to coordinate. Kaylee's fall party started with a spooky story in the chapel, then all of the kids got to pick a baby pumpkin from the pumpkin patch, and afterwards they all learned about the composition of a pumpkin. Then all of the kids went back to the classroom and frosted their own Halloween cupcakes. Sean's fall party was a blast.... the kids made foam ball pumpkins and frost their own Halloween cupcakes. On Halloween night we went to Uncle Kenny's house to trick or treat and bust a huge Halloween pinata. Sean was a jailbird zombie, Kaylee was a pretty witch, and Rose was her sweet little self dressed in orange and black. Clint and I dressed up as hippies!

Kaylee and Sean's Birthday

Kaylee turned four on September 7th 2009. She had such a great time and her favorite gift was MeMe's present. It was a gigantic doll house for her room. Sean turned seven on November 17th 2009. He was extremely excited that some of his classmates from school were there.

Daddy and Me Rodeo

Today was Kaylee's Daddy and Me Rodeo at her school. Clint took off half a day to spend time with her. There were so many fun activities like wagon rides, the cow toss, stomp rockets, stamp center, and cookies and lemonade. They had so much fun together. Rose and I took pictures of everything and watched all of the kids running around. It was an exciting and memorable day.
