Company/Family Christmas Party

Today we went to Uncle James's company Christmas Party at Salt Grass. Almost the entire family was there. The kids had so much fun with NaNa and PaPa, Uncle James, cousin Britton (Kaylee's favorite) and everyone else. It was a great night with good food, good atmosphere, and good company.

Surgery and Thanksgiving!

November 20th was a weird day for all of us. Clint took off from work after I complained all morning of severe pain, aches, vomiting, and passing out on the bathroom floor. I made an appointment with the doctor and went to see him assuming that I had somehow picked up the swine flu. After several test including a CAT scan, and two doctor's later I was shortly admitted to the hospital to have emergency surgery. I needed an emergency appendectomy, a fischerectomy, and a hemroidectomy all in one. This could not have come at a worse time. My surgery was scheduled for 6:30 which was 30 minutes before Clint's second playoff game. Everything ended up okay and we were able to go home two days later. Thanksgiving was pretty much a blur for me because I was recovering and slept through the entire day. Clint and I also spent our first wedding anniversary in the hospital. :(

Halloween

Halloween with the kids seemed to last for weeks. Kaylee and Sean both had fall parties at their school's which somehow I was nominated to coordinate. Kaylee's fall party started with a spooky story in the chapel, then all of the kids got to pick a baby pumpkin from the pumpkin patch, and afterwards they all learned about the composition of a pumpkin. Then all of the kids went back to the classroom and frosted their own Halloween cupcakes. Sean's fall party was a blast.... the kids made foam ball pumpkins and frost their own Halloween cupcakes. On Halloween night we went to Uncle Kenny's house to trick or treat and bust a huge Halloween pinata. Sean was a jailbird zombie, Kaylee was a pretty witch, and Rose was her sweet little self dressed in orange and black. Clint and I dressed up as hippies!

Kaylee and Sean's Birthday

Kaylee turned four on September 7th 2009. She had such a great time and her favorite gift was MeMe's present. It was a gigantic doll house for her room. Sean turned seven on November 17th 2009. He was extremely excited that some of his classmates from school were there.

Daddy and Me Rodeo

Today was Kaylee's Daddy and Me Rodeo at her school. Clint took off half a day to spend time with her. There were so many fun activities like wagon rides, the cow toss, stomp rockets, stamp center, and cookies and lemonade. They had so much fun together. Rose and I took pictures of everything and watched all of the kids running around. It was an exciting and memorable day.

The Three Amigo's

The kids are all getting so big. Rose is finally on a really good schedule, she is no longer breastfeeding. We went three and a half long hard months of doing everything we could so that she could keep nursing and nothing seemed to work. She is smiling, going, laughing, and rolling over. Her favorite spot in the house is on the floor.... she likes to watch Sean and Kaylee playing together and she is extremely fascinated by the television. It is funny to see her watching all of the colors and sounds that are coming out of the T.V. because Sean and Kaylee were never interested in it. She has little rolls on her legs and they are too cute. She is sleeping from around 10 at night until 6 in the morning almost every single night in her own bed. She loves Charlie and watches every move that he makes.

Kaylee is quite fond of her little sister. She is constantly talking to her and making her yummy fake food on her play kitchen. She often brings all of her little ponies out and makes a circle of them around Rose while she is lying on the floor. Kaylee is now in pre-school every Monday and Wednesday. There are 6 other students in her class, five boys and one girl. She is so happy with school where she gets to attend Chapel, go to music, Spanish, and art class, and spend time with her new friends. We are so proud of her.

Sean truly is the best big brother EVER!! He is always helping with Rose. He gives her bottles and burps her, as well as bringing Clint and I anything we need at anytime. He definitely has his work cut out for him with two younger sisters, but we are confident that he can handle it. He loves his new school, his teachers, and his classmates. He is currently working on a project called Beauty is..... he gets to go around with the camera and take pictures of things that in his mind are beautiful. We cant wait to see his finished product.

Hot Tub Heaven

The five of us all stayed at NaNa and PaPa's house on Saturday night. We watched movies all night, ate popcorn, and rested. It was so much fun. We had a minor incident when PaPa accidentally dropped a pan piping hot from the oven onto the top of Kaylee's hand.
Sunday we decided after living here for over three months that it was time to get the hot tub in the back yard working. The weather is finely starting to get cooler so that we can use it in the evenings. It was quite a task getting all of the rain water out of it and scrubbing every inch of it down with cleaner and sanitizer. After that was done it was time to fill it up with water, it was a beautiful day and the kids decided to put there swim suites on and make it into their own little swimming pool. They had such a blast, it took over an hour to fill it up all the way.
