4th of July
The 4th of July turned out nice. We went to MeMe's to have lunch with the Nash's and the kids spent the afternoon (for lack of a better word) pretty much destroying the living room. If there was a toy left untouched in MeMe's living room at the end of the day then it must have been hiding very well. After lunch, the five of us headed to lake hide away to enjoy the 4th of July celebration. We enjoyed watching the sky diver's and the boat parade, but the kids had an absolute blast in the sand. We are pretty sure that the three of them would live on a beach if they could. Sean and Kaylee made a few new friends and dug a river from the lake well into the sitting area of the beach. :) Rose played half in the water and half out with plastic shovels and buckets in the sand. We loved seeing her smile from ear to ear as the sand squished through her fingers. As night fell we met up with MeMe and the Nash's to watch the fireworks. Carson narrated the entire show with an array of "OOOh's, Aaaah's, and more, more please." Too CUTE! Rose stayed interested through most of the show and Sean and Kaylee played on the beach through the entire thing. When the show was over we loaded back up in the car and headed back to Wylie! It was such a great fourth of July.

PaPa Lance's Wedding
Today was busy and fun. The morning consisted of finishing the groom's cake and the wedding cake. They both turned out very pretty. We all went to MeMe's for breakfast and the kids had an absolute blast playing with all of their cousin's. After breakfast we all went to Uncle Nate's to get dressed for the wedding and then Uncle Nate helped us transport the cakes to Karen's house. The wedding was beautiful, Kaylee was the flower girl. We got to meet all of Karen's family and friends. The adults all had fun, but the kids enjoyed themselves even more. They played all day long, it was so good to see everyone.

Weekend in Lindale
We took Rose to visit MeMe for the weekend. We had a family reunion to go to in Longview on Saturday afternoon. There were not many people at the reunion but Rose made herself at home after finding 3 wooden mallets on a shelf in the banquet room. After the reunion Rose stayed with MeMe while Clint and I went to visit Nate. It was a much needed relaxing weekend.

Rosie's Pool
We bought a kiddie pool for the back yard and Rose made it known very fast that the pool was her territory. The first night we had it we filled it up and let her go. She LOVED every minute of it. She did not want to get out and was in the water so long that we ended up giving her a bath outside in her pool.

Our honeymoon. FINALLY!!
Clint and I finally went on our honeymoon. We decided to go to Cozumel Mexico for our vacation. It was such a new experience for me considering I have never been out of the country and never seen the beach, which was long overdue. When we arrived at our hotel we went straight to the restaurant to have lunch sea side. It was literally the most beautiful thing I have laid my eyes on (except for my three babies, of course.) We met another couple there on there honeymoon the first night and had fun with them all night. The next morning, at 8am we were off. We took a cab to downtown Cozumel and then hopped on a fairy over to Plya. It was so gorgeous there, we shopped and walked along the beaches most of the day. The rest of the trip we went non stop. We rented a scooter and drove around the entire island. We snorkeled at the different reefs and we even para sailed, which we both loved. We spent the evenings at our hotel relaxing by the beach. I couldn't think of a better way for Clint and I to celebrate our love for each other.
