It is seven o'clock at night here in Wylie Texas and so far we have gotten 5 inches of snow!! It is suppose to snow until seven in the morning. This was an extremely exciting day for the kids because they have never seen snow and even more exciting for Mommy because she has never seen snow like this before either. We spent the day watching the beautiful snowflakes fall outside our house. Sean and Kaylee caught snowflakes in their mouths and we all waited for dad to get home so we could go out and play. The five of us geared up in all the winter clothes we could find and set out to make a snowman. We named him Bart Simpson Brown and his eyes, nose,mouth, and buttons were made out of veggies. Rose did not know what to think of the snow but she did pretty good in it. Charlie LOVED the snow, he pounced in it all day long in the back yard, he loves to eat ice so he was in heaven. The kids had a snowball fight with their two best friends Audrea and Lilly who live two doors down. We all ended the day with homemade Chicken and Dumplings and for dessert.... Homemade Snow Ice cream!
