The kids had their pictures done yesterday. Rose stayed awake for the entire session and they turned out so good.

Miss Rose

Rose had her first doctor's appointment on Tuesday and it went really well. She has not gained any weight yet, but she is healthy. She has her own little personality already and makes a ton of funny, cute faces. She makes one in particular quite a bit and we call it the kissy face. She loves car rides and walks in the stroller and her favorite thing so far is sleeping in between daddy's legs. She is so peaceful right there.

1 week old

Today Rose is one week old. This has been a really good week. Rose enjoys her bath time and the baby swing. We have only had one rough night so far. Sean and Kaylee are having so much fun spending time with NaNa and PaPa and all of the visitors that have come to the house to meet baby Rose. Today PaPa came over and MeMe was here all weekend. Saturday night MeMe slept in the living room with Rose and Clint and I caught up on some much needed sleep. It was wonderful..... We are still packing and should be able to start moving in our new house on Wednesday. Rose has her very first doctor's appointment in the morning. Nash's parents came over today to meet baby Rose and his mother made her the most beautiful blanket with her initials on it. The kids all played in the floor with Nash.... it was a fun and exciting afternoon.

Our first day's home

The first few day's have been wonderful. Rose is such a happy, calm baby and she has made our little family complete. We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family who have made things a little easier for us at the house. We want to send a BIG thank you out to everyone who has brought us food, cooked for us, and done our laundry.

Baby Rose is a very good eater and a great sleeper. She is sleeping on average 3-4 hours before eating. She had her first sponge bath on Tuesday night and she loved it. She was fascinated with staring at herself in the mirror. Sean, Kaylee, and Charlie are all doing so well with Rose and it has been a much more peaceful transition from a family of 4 to 5 then we could have ever imagined. We are looking forward to the days ahead. We will be moving into our new house next week.

Rose Marie Brown

Baby Brown is here!!! Rose Marie Brown decided to make here entrance into the world late Sunday night. We decided to go to lunch at around noon on Sunday and the contractions started to come during the middle of a huge plate of greasy, bacon, cheese fries. We arrived at the hospital at around three in the afternoon dilated to a 3 and the rest is history. It was a very calm delivery. Na Na, Me Me, and both Papa's were at the hospital all day to help celebrate the arrival of Baby Rose. She was born at 11:06pm June 7th 2009. She weighed 6lbs 13oz and was 19 and 1/4 inches long. She was born with a full head of hair and beautiful dark blue eyes. Sean and Kaylee are so excited to have a new baby sister and so far Rose has been a very peaceful, calm baby.
