Easter Egg Hunt

This year we had our annual Easter Egg Hunt at Aunt Kathy's house. It was so great to see all of the cousins together playing and laughing. All of the kids absolutely loved the chickens and ducks in the back yard. It turned out to be an absolutely beautiful Easter Sunday!

While all the guys planted the eggs in the back yard all of the cousins took a group picture in the front yard.

As soon as all the Easter Eggs were hidden the Easter Egg Hunt was ON! Cousin Britton helped Rose find the eggs.

After the egg hunt the kids sat down and opened all of their eggs to see what prizes were hidden inside.

Before we left Rose found the tree swing outside and spent a little time swinging in her bright polka dot dress.

In the end we ended up with SO MUCH candy and a whole bunch of plastic eggs for next year. :)

Happy Happy Easter Everyone!
This morning the kids woke up and the Easter Bunny had left them something special! Happy Easter Day!!

Sean and Kaylee were leaving to spend some time with their MoMo over the holiday weekend so we decided to dye Easter Eggs the morning before Easter. This has become one of the kids favorite things to do before Easter and we make it a point to do it every year. They had such a blast making all of the plain white eggs transform into amazing colorful Easter Bunny Eggs.

Rose REALLY got into the whole process this year and boy was she excited to drop those eggs into the different color cups.

There was a tie dye kit in our Easter dying kit and we decided to try it out and see what it was all about. We started with a plain white egg and wrapped a thin white cloth around it.Then we put it in a plastic contraption and closed it up. Afterwards we dyed the cloth around the egg different colors with the colored dyes and let it sit. When the eggs where done we took the cloth off and the kids thought they were awesome.

The final Product was beautiful!

Chris and Heather's Camera

I asked Heather and Nash if I could borrow their camera to take some pictures of the kids... after Sean and Kaylee left for the day I had this awesome camera and just Rose, so of course I took like 100 pictures of her. I absolutely fell in love with a few of the pictures and wanted to share. I am totally hooked on the camera and cannot wait to get one someday!

Thank you so much Heather and Chris!! :0)

Potty Time!

Rose has been obsessed with the potty for the past few weeks now. Everytime she uses the restroom in her diaper she comes and tells up and brings up a diaper and her wipes. She likes to sit on the toilet and wipe herself so we decieded to get her a potty seat. Hopefully it will not be long until she is using the potty like a big girl. We are so proud of her.
