Soccer Player and Gymnist

Sean started soccer a few weeks ago and he loves it. The name of the team he plays for is the Killer Ducks. His first game should be at the end of March. For now he is loving practice and making many new friends. Kaylee is in her sixth week of gymnastics and she thinks that it is the greatest thing on the planet. Her favorite activity is doing front and back rolls. They are both improving in their hand and eye coordination skills.

Clint's Birthday

Last night was so much fun! It was Clint's 31st Birthday and we celebrated Mardi Gras style. First we met Nash and Heather at the Shuck N Jive for some Craw Fish and Strawberry Cheesecake. After that we all headed out to the West Inn where the Mardi Gras Parade was happening in Dallas. We walked around and went to a few bars and then we ended the night with a game of darts that Nash ended by hitting three bulls eyes in a row!!

Valentines Weekend!!

We are aware that it has taken quite some time to get a blog up and running, but we have had quite a bit on our plates the past few months. We would like to jump right in and say that Valentines Day was wonderful!! Uncle Nash, Aunt Heather, and baby Carson came over to have dinner with us. The kids blew bubbles in the front yard and the food turned out great. We ended up having NY Strip Steaks, Twice Baked Potatoes, Herbed Parmesan Riso, Salad, Bread, and Chocolate Glazed Bunt Cake with Chocolate Covered Strawberries.... Yummy! After dinner Kaylee and Carson enjoyed a little bath time and then played with blocks in the living room floor. The evening ended with a bang.... The adults played spades in the living room after Carson went to sleep and Kaylee and Sean decided to be put to bed early after having a little "play" time in the bathroom while they were suppose to be brushing their teeth.
For anyone wondering about the future baby Brown (to be arriving this summer) he/she is doing great. Clint got to feel the first kicks a couple of weeks ago and the baby has not stopped moving ever since. We have a doctor's appointment tomorrow afternoon because the sonograms show that the baby might be a little over three weeks older than we originally thought. As of now the due date is anywhere from the middle of May to the middle of June. We are pretty sure that we are set on a girls name. Her name will be Rose Marie Brown. We are naming her after Clint's grandmother and mother. As far as a boy's name goes.... we have not made a decision.
